Credit Score

Your credit score or FICO score (Fair Isaac Corporation Company Profile) is the first thing a lender weighs when considering someone for a loan. It is important to monitor credit scores from all three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union), and should always be reviewed before applying for a new loan or credit card. A FICO score ranges between 300 and 850, with the average score being 678. Most lenders will look at your credit score from all 3 credit bureaus and then use the average score to make a determination.
